Obiettivi formativi
Nella finalità di condurre gli/le studenti/esse alle abilità comunicative a livello tanto di conoscenza/compresione quanto di loro applicazione, il corso persegue i seguenti obiettivi specifici: Potenziamento di lessico e strutture del Modern Standard Arabic (MSA), in prosecuzione delle conoscenze e competenze di tale varietà di arabo apprese nel precedente corso di Lingua Araba - Prima Annualità. Si richiede l'apprendimento mnemonico di un congruo numero di vocaboli e strutture morfo-sintattiche, contenute nel manuale del corso (vedasi Testi consigliati e bibliografia).
In the aim of leading learners to achieve communications skills, on the levels of both knowledge/understanding and their application, this course pursues the following specific objectives: Vocabulary enhancement and structural accuracy concerning Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) lexicon and grammar, as a follow-up to MSA knowledge and skills learned during the course Lingua Araba - Prima Annualità. Students are required to learn mnemonically a selected set of vocabulary items and morpho-syntactic structures, as occurring in the course book in use (see Recommended texts and bibliography).

Modalità di verifica dell'apprendimento
Quanto segue si intende valido nel caso in cui le misure di contenimento lo consentano. Altrimenti, saranno adottate modalità alternative.
Il programma d'esame corrispondente a 12 CFU comprende tutte le unità del manuale in uso. Il programma d'esame corrispondente a 6 CFU comprende metà delle unità, da concordare con il docente. La verifica dell'apprendimento consiste in un esame scritto e in un esame orale, entrambi obbligatori. L'esame scritto prevede una traduzione dal MSA all'italiano (o alternativamente all'inglese o al francese), unitamente a una batteria di esercizi basati sul manuale del corso. Esso ha il fine di accertare negli/lle studenti/esse la conoscenza e comprensione del MSA, ossia le conoscenze di lessico e strutture del MSA apprese durante il corso. L'esame orale è incentrato sulle abilità comunicative e prevede la lettura e verifica della comprensione di un testo noto agli/lle studenti/esse; e/o la traduzione dal MSA all'italiano di uno o più passaggi di tale testo; e/o l'esposizione di alcuni argomenti grammaticali presenti in esso e trattati durante l'insegnamento. L'esame orale ha il fine di accertare negli/lle studenti/esse la capacità di conoscenza e comprensione, ossia le competenze di lessico e strutture del MSA apprese durante il corso.
Ogni sessione comprende una prova scritta. Prima di accedere alla prova orale ogni studente deve avere sostenuto e superato positivamente la prova scritta.
Limitatamente agli/lle studenti/esse del CdS in Lingue e Culture dell'Asia e dell'Africa, la prova orale potrà essere sostenuta
- a partire dall'appello estivo e
- solo se la la prova relativa al lettorato sia stata ugualmente superata.
Con l'orale si possono aggiungere fino a 4 trentesimi al voto ottenuto nello scritto. Il voto finale dell'esame corrisponde alla media del voto dello scritto e dell'orale. I lettorati di arabo standard e marocchino non contribuiscono alla media.
Perché il voto definitivo sia verbalizzato è necessario iscriversi ad un appello verbalizzante nelle modalità previste (quindi aver caricato l'insegnamento nel piano carriera, essere in regola con il pagamento delle tasse, aver valutato il corso in Edumeter).
La verifica delle conoscenze acquisite durante i due lettorati di arabo standard e Arabo marocchino avverrà al termine del lettorato stesso.

What follows is in force provided that the containment measures allow for it. Otherwise, exams shall be held in different way.
The exam programme that is worth 12 CFU credits consists of the Lessons 9-28 of the course book in use. The exam programme that is worth 6 CFU credits consists of the Lessons 9-18 of the course book in use. Learning will be assessed through a compulsory written exam and a compulsory oral exam. The written exam is a translation from MSA into Italian (or alternatively English or French), accompanied by exercises based on the course book in use, and is designed to check students' knowledge and understanding of MSA, namely of the MSA lexicon and structures learned during the course. The oral exam is an interview with the course teacher and is designed to check students' communication skills in MSA as well as their applying of knowledge and understanding of the MSA lexicon and structures learned during the course. Accordingly, the interview contents are the following: reading comprehension of (a) portion(s) of a text already known to the student (e.g., questions about such a text asked by the teacher in MSA); translation from MSA into Italian of (a) portion(s) of such a text; explanation of the grammar topics found in such a text and addressed during the course.
Each exam session includes a written exam. Students must first successfully pass the written exam before proceeding to the oral exam.
Students from Lingue e Culture dell'Asia e dell'Africa have the right to take the oral test
- only starting from the summer exam session and if
- the language lectorate test (i.e., the test related to native speaker's lectures) has likewise been successfully taken.
The oral test allows the possibility of adding 4 (four) marks to the mark acquired in the written test. The final mark of the exam is the average score resulting from the mark of the twritten test and from the mark of the oral test. This average score is not based on the tests of the two language lectorates (Moroccan Arabic and MSA).
It is necessary to properly register to these "appelli verbalizzanti". This involves having paid the due fees, having the exam in one's own career plan and evaluating the course into Edumeter.
The language lectorate (i.e., native speaker's lectures in MSA and Moroccan Colloquial Arabic) will be tested at the end of the lectorate.
The written and oral exams draw on a 30-point scale

Attendance to the native speakers' lectures in Modern Standard Arabic and Moroccan Arabic is not mandatory but strongly recommended. However, students enrolled into the Corso di Laurea in Lingue e Culture dell'Asia e dell'Africa must first successfully pass the oral exam held by the native-speaker lecturer (conversation based on his lecture programme) before proceeding to the exam related to the course Lingua Araba - Terza Annualità. Students are kindly requested to contact the native-speaker lecturers for further information concerning their lecture programmes and the related exam modalities:
