Obiettivi formativi
Il corso amplia la conoscenza delle principali nozioni di morfologia e sintassi della lingua hindi. Il corso avvia gli studenti alla lettura, comprensione e analisi di testi di diverso contenuto e genere.
The course aims to broaden the knowledge of the main concepts of the morphology and syntax of the Hindi grammar. The course introduces students to reading, understanding and analysis of texts of different content and genre.

Il livello di hindi raggiunto al termine del modulo 1 è A2/B1 del Quadro Comune Europeo di Riferimento per le Lingue.
CONOSCENZA E CAPACITÀ DI COMPRENSIONE: le e gli studenti sapranno comprendere e produrre brevi testi in hindi standard. Riusciranno ad affrontare molte delle situazioni che si possono presentare viaggiando in una zona dove si parla hindi. Riusciranno a descrivere, collegando semplici espressioni, esperienze e avvenimenti. Riusciranno a scrivere testi semplici e coerenti su argomenti noti o di loro interesse.
CAPACITÀ DI APPLICARE CONOSCENZA E COMPRENSIONE, AUTONOMIA DI GIUDIZIO e ABILITÀ COMUNICATIVE: sapranno leggere e analizzare i testi in hindi letti a lezione; nell’analisi e commento dei testi, faranno uso degli strumenti critici e bibliografici presentati a lezione
CAPACITÀ DI APPRENDIMENTO: sapranno utilizzare alcuni strumenti bibliografici (manuali, dizionari, grammatiche ed enciclopedie) sulle lingue neo-indo-arie, con particolare attenzione alla lingua hindi.
The level of Hindi reached at the end of module 1 is A2/B1 of the CEFR.
KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: students will be able to understand and produce short texts in MSH. They will be able to cope with many situations that can be faces when travelling in an area where Hindi is spoken. They will be able to describe experiences and events connecting simple sentences. They will be able to write simple and congruent texts on known and selected topics.
APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING, MAKING JUDGEMENTS and COMMUNICATION SKILLS: students will be able to read and analyse the texts presented during the course; they will use the critical notions and the bibliographical tools, presented in the course, in the analysis of and commentary on the texts
LEARNING SKILLS: students will familiarize with bibliographic tools (handbooks, dictionaries, grammars and reference works) on the NIA languages, specifically on Hindi

Modalità di verifica dell'apprendimento
I risultati dell’apprendimento verranno verificati attraverso una prova scritta e una prova orale (entrambe obbligatorie per il superamento del corso) che hanno obiettivi distinti. La prova scritta verifica la conoscenza e l’applicazione delle principali nozioni grammaticali, attraverso una traduzione. Può essere sostenuta ad ogni appello scritto (uno per ogni sessione di esame). Le persone che superano con esito positivo la prova scritta sono ammesse alla prova orale. Nella prova orale le/gli studenti dovranno dimostrare di essere in grado di descrivere e padroneggiare le regole sulla morfologia e sintassi grammatica impartite nel corso. Dovranno inoltre conoscere il contenuto dei testi previsti per l’esame, essere in grado di leggerli e tradurli correttamente. La prova orale misura il livello di comprensione orale raggiunto dagli/dalle studenti.
The learning outcomes will be tested through a written and an oral exam (both compulsory for passing the exam) that have distinct goals. The written exam verifies the acquisition of grammatical rules, through a translation of a simple text. It can be taken three times a year (one written exam for each exam term). Those who successfully pass the written test are admitted to the oral test. In the oral examination students must demonstrate knowledge of the rules of the grammar taught in the course. They must also know the contents of the texts provided for the exam, be able to read and translate them properly, and answer to questions that activate conversations. The oral test assesses and evaluates the level of oral comprehension reached by the students.

Il programma del corso prevede un’introduzione generale sulla lingua hindi (cenni di storia della lingua e varietà),
Il programma del corso prevede il consolidamento degli elementi della grammatica relativi alla morfologia e soprattutto della sintassi della proposizione e del periodo acquisiti nel corso del biennio.
Il corso verrà svolto prevalentemente in hindi. Partendo dall’analisi testuale si prevede l’apprendimento del lessico specifico per ogni tipologia di testo studiata.
The course program includes a general survey on the history of the Hindi language and its varieties.
The course aims to the the consolidation of the rules of morphology and syntax acquired during the biennium.
The course will be conducted mainly in Hindi. It is based on textual analysis and will lead to the acquisition of the specific lexical choices for each type of text studied.

Per sostenere l’esame è essenziale avere superato l’esame di Lingua hindi I. Anche se il corso non ha l’obbligo di frequenza, si consiglia caldamente di seguire le lezioni. Chi non potesse frequentare le lezioni contatti la docente prima di presentarsi all’esame.
La validità dell'esame scritto è di un anno dalla data dell'appello in cui si è sostenuto. Entro questo periodo è necessario superare la prova orale. In caso contrario, è necessario ripetere l'esame scritto.
In order to take the exam, it is mandatory to have passed Hindi Language I. Although attendance to classes is not compulsory, it is highly recommended. Students who cannot attend classes and/or the Linguistic Training Course must contact the instructor before taking the exam. Written tests will be valid one year. Within this period, the student should take the oral examination. Otherwise, the written exam must be repeated.
