Modalità di insegnamento

DIDATTICA INTEGRATA

L’insegnamento (36 ore complessive) sarà strutturato in modalità mista (sincrono e asincrono).

Integrated teaching.

The course will be developed in blended modality (both synchronous and asynchronous). Synchronous lectures: according to the situation at the moment of the lectures, online synchronous lectures will be provided (with recorded lectures for those registered to the course). In synchronous teaching, there will be seminars, discussions, and presentation of additional material related to the asynchronous lectures.  Asynchronous lectures: Some lectures will be uploaded on the Moodle platform. At the moment, the proportion between synchronous and asynchronous lectures is not predictable. Generally speaking, the asynchronous material should be studied by students before the synchronous lectures, in which all the material provided will be deepened, applied, discussed and interpreted, according to the methodology of the flipped classroom. In addition, some forums and group works on Moodle will be organized in order to be recognized as parts of the final exam.

Learning will be tested through an oral examination. During the exam, three subjects will be discussed: the student will choose the first one; the professor the other two. For each subject, various questions would be possible, whose aim is to understand the level of knowledge reached by the student. The examination grade will be ranged between 18/30 (minimum) to 30L/30 (maximum).

In case of a student attending both modules of the present course (as with the students of the Degree Course in East Asian Languages and Cultures), there will be only one final examination.

During the exam, besides the subject chosen by the student, it will be possible to prepare a second subject as the result of a group work (buzz group) which will be defined during the course. The students who attend both modules have to choose one among the two buzz groups of the two modules. The procedure however is the same. The buzz group activity is subject to rules and limitations. Please, verify them on the Moodle page.

Besides, the participation to the forums, which will be prepared for the Moodle page of the course, can be used during the examination (one subject). The forum activity is subject to rules and limitations. Please, verify them on the Moodle page.

The possible combinations of activities and subjects for the examinations are:

Type A: 1st subject chosen by the student; 2nd and 3rd subjects chosen by the exam committee.

Type B: 1st subject chosen by the student, 2nd subject replaced by an activity (forum or buzz group), 3rd subject chosen by the exam committee.

Type C: 1st subject replaced by forum, 2nd subject replaced by buzz group, 3rd subject chosen by exam committee.

Note

Both program and bibliography are valid for either attending or non-attending students.

The students of the degree course in Asian and African Languages and Cultures must attend both modules lectures (East Asian Cultural Studies and East Asian Religions and Philosophies, Module 2). The students from other degree courses can follow only one module (36 hours), to be decided in arrangement with the lecturer.

Although attendance is not compulsory, it is highly recommended
